PRIVATE PILOT
This is the most common certificate held. It requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight training and allows you to fly most single-engine aircraft day or night under fair weather conditions. Once certified, you may add an instrument rating that will allow you to fly in the clouds.
INSTRUMENT TRAINING
Instrument rated Pilots can legally file an IFR flight plan enabling unrestricted flight through clouds and making flights through difficult airspace much easier.
COMMERCIAL TRAINING
Achieving a Commercial Pilot Certificate is the ticket to finally being able to receive compensation for hire as a pilot. This certificate opens the doors to a wide variety of personally and financially rewarding flying opportunities.
CFI & CFII TRAINING
Instrument rated Pilots can legally file an IFR flight plan enabling unrestricted flight through clouds and making flights through difficult airspace much easier.
AEROBATIC TRAINING
Experience the total freedom and excitement of aerobatic flight as you improve your pilot skills in precision and coordination. Aerobatic training will make you a safer pilot and it will strengthen confidence as a pilot.
AIRCRAFT CHECKOUTS
The checkouts are always short and sweet. Slow flight, stalls, steep turns and a few laps around the pattern. They can be done in less than an hour if you’re already familiar with the systems and v-speeds.
MENTOR
TAIL WHEEL ENDORSEMENT
Earning a tailwheel endorsement can be one of the most fun and rewarding activities to broaden your flying experience and improve your skills. Tailwheel pilots develop a strong understanding and improved skills for coping with crosswinds during takeoff and landing in any aircraft.
UNUSUAL ATTITUDE AND UPSET TRAINING
Upset recovery training teaches potentially lifesaving techniques under actual in-flight conditions, simulating common situations. In course, pilots will also learn to differentiate between spins and spiral dives, and nose high and nose low situations.
Mountain Flying
One of the greatest thrills of being a pilot in Colorado is the opportunity to fly throughout the majestic Rocky Mountains. The risks of mountain flying are minimized when a pilot fully understands the conditions commonly encountered in mountainous regions, specific challenges of destination airports, and the performance characteristics of their aircraft.
Spin training
Being skilled in entering and exiting a spin, gives pilots great confidence that they will be able to deal with any situation. The best way to do this is to learn proper technique.
Multi-engine rating
The best way to master a subject is to teach it. Becoming a Flight Instructor provides the opportunity to build valuable flight time, while growing experience, maintaining proficiency, and increasing safety awareness while being paid to fly.
